An Upstander is someone who takes action to support others by speaking up to safely intervene when they witness a breach of their Code of Conduct, injustice, bullying, harassment, or any form of harmful behaviour at work.
Yet often they don’t for one of six reasons including fear of retribution, lack of understanding that what was said or done was indeed inappropriate.
